APPLICATION DEADLINES INTERVIEW and WRITING PROMPT ADMISSION DECISIONS

Completed Admission Applications may be mailed or hand delivered during business hours: 8:30 – 11:30 AM and 1:00– 4:30 PM

The following documents must be submitted for admission review. An interview and writing prompt will then be scheduled.

 APPLICATION – In addition if applying BCLAD a separate BCLAD application must also be submitted.

 APPLICATION FEE: Domestic Students--$60.00 / International Students--$75.00 Check Payable to “REGENTS, UC”

 CBEST – Verification of passage.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION - (Three to Five) Two letters should be from college or university faculty and should address your potential as a teacher. The third letter can be from a K-12 teacher, administrator, or another person who can address your potential as a teacher. Intern applicants must also submit verification/support from individual(s) who have observed your teaching experience.

 ONE OFFICIAL (SEALED)TRANSCRIPT - from each institution attended since high school. If bachelor’s degree has not yet been awarded, provide official transcripts showing work-in-progress. Degree posted transcripts must be provided if admitted.

 SUBJECT MATTER COMPETENCE – Verification of Passage of CSET exams or proof of completion of a Single Subject Matter Preparation Program.

 CERTIFICATE OF CLEARANCE (COC) – This document is issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). For an application to apply please visit the CCTC web site. A Substitute or Emergency Permit or California teaching credential is accepted in lieu of this document.
