Financial Aid

There are several merit-based financial aid options available to qualified GSOE students. These opportunities include:

  • Fellowships: Primarily available to incoming and continuing Ph.D. students, though outstanding Master’s students who plan to apply for the Ph.D. program may also be considered.
  • Teaching Assistant Positions: Reserved for Ph.D. students who have completed their first year in the program.
  • Graduate Student Research Positions
  • Supervisor Positions: Only occasionally available

GSOE also makes named awards available to qualified students. Priority is given to Ph.D. students, who are automatically considered for awards if they meet the following criteria:

  • Achieve at least 3.2 GPA in the last two years of undergraduate work or if they possess an M.A.
  • Have a combined GRE scores of 1200 or higher
  • Are a good fit for the program

Applicants are encouraged to contact University Financial Aid for further information on available awards.
