Financial Aid
There are several merit-based financial aid options available to qualified GSOE students. These opportunities include:
- Fellowships: Primarily available to incoming and continuing Ph.D. students, though outstanding Master’s students who plan to apply for the Ph.D. program may also be considered.
- Teaching Assistant Positions: Reserved for Ph.D. students who have completed their first year in the program.
- Graduate Student Research Positions
- Supervisor Positions: Only occasionally available
GSOE also makes named awards available to qualified students. Priority is given to Ph.D. students, who are automatically considered for awards if they meet the following criteria:
- Achieve at least 3.2 GPA in the last two years of undergraduate work or if they possess an M.A.
- Have a combined GRE scores of 1200 or higher
- Are a good fit for the program
