The SEARCH family autism resource center sponsors a book signing at Sweeney Art Gallery

Join the Graduate School of Education’s SEARCH center, along with The HELP Group, as they welcome Dr. Barbara Firestone, author of Autism Heroes: Portrait of Families Meeting the Challenge. Come to the UC Riverside’s Sweeney Art Gallery for a discussion and book signing on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Firestone is the President, CEO and Founder of The HELP Group.

In Autism Heroes, Dr. Firestone provides a compelling and sensitive account of the experiences of families from different walks of life confronting the challenges of autism spectrum disorders. Through its words and images, this book offers families a lifeline of support, insight, encouragement and hope.
